Team: Maartje Briedé
Maartje started as an employment lawyer in 2002. Before Maartje joined Galatea in February 2023, she worked for her own law practice and at Florent and Höcker advocaten.
She advises and litigates in divers employment law cases involving dismissal, incapacity for work, reorganisations and employment terms and conditions. Maartje works for small and medium-sized enterprises, large national and international corporations, private individuals and statutory directors.
Maartje is a member of the Dutch Employment Lawyers Association (VAAN), the Employment Law Association (VvA) and the Employment Lawyers Association of Amsterdam and environs (VAAA). She also acts as a board member of the Stichting Fonds NSDSK (Dutch Foundation for the Deaf and Hard Hearing Child).
In 2009 Maartje successfully completed the Post-academic Employment law Course (PALA) at the University of Rotterdam.
mr. Maartje Briedé has registered the following main (and sub) jurisdictions in the Register of Jurisdictions of the Dutch Bar Association:

Based on this registration, he is obliged to obtain ten training points in each registered main jurisdiction in accordance with the standards of the Dutch Bar Association.
